Mural Artist Elizabeth Veglia, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), Perkinston Campus, art teachers Sandra Cassibry and Daniel Calcote and their art student are creating Stone County’s 8th mosaic tile mural and 35th County Mural. The newest mural celebrates Mississippi’s Bicentennial and will be formally dedicated at the Pine Hill Celebration in Wiggins on March 18, 2017.  This project is a partnership of the Stone County Economic Development Partnership, MGCCC, and the Stone County Board of Supervisors and was made possible by a grant from the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources and the Mississippi Gulf Coast National Heritage Area, whose mission is to promote understanding of and to conserve and enhance the heritage resources of the six Mississippi Gulf Coast counties.
