The Stone County Arts Council uses various venues to promote the arts and to instruct folks of all ages about our natural as well as historic heritage. Teaching materials compliant with Common Core Standards telling the science and history of the Longleaf Pine (The Longleaf and Me…A-Z) and the Pascagoula River Water Basis (The Watershed and Me….A-Z) habitats are now in use in school systems throughout the southern part of the State.
