February Meeting and Workshop

The Stone County Arts Council will hold their regular meeting on February 20, 2018 from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Community Arts Center, Perkinston Campus-MGCCC.  All interested citizens are invited. For further information, call Sandra Cassibry- 601-928-6298.
After the meeting, Kym Garraway will lead a Watercolor Workshop from 6:30-8:30 pm, Community Arts Center, Perkinston Campus, MGCCC. Cost is $25 members, $40 non-members.  All supplies are furnished for at least one piece of art. Artist Sherry Carlson recently presented a flower watercolor workshop for the Stone County Arts Council (SCAC) and in support of the Community Arts Center.

Watercolor Canvas Workshop with Elizabeth Huffmaster – 07-13-2013

huffmaster-1 The Stone County Arts Council will sponsor a “Watercolor Canvas” workshop with artist Elizabeth Huffmaster on July 13th at the Visual Arts Center on the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The workshop is from 9 am – 3 pm. All supplies will be furnished to complete one work – a floral piece or a crab.

The workshop is limited to 20 participants.  The cost of the workshop is $60 for members and $75 for non-members.
